Scubi: Integration of biometric and cognitive measures for the optimization of digital search.
The main goal of this project is to validate the psychological plausibility of the cognitive reading computational model obtained from a set of subjects applied to information searching in the WWW through natural language hits. Biometric variables captured from subjects’ EEG and psychometric variables extracted from subjects’ behavior when they evaluate the terms resulting from the expanded hit proposed by their reading models and the evolution of their semantic. EEG recorded will allow identifying event-related potentials and, concretely, the potentials evoked while reading a certain text, which depict semantic association among words.
